Khatira Safarova, Touching Lives Through the Power of Psychology.

Khatira Safarova, a clinical psychologist, author, and business trainer, is a distinguished professional who demonstrates the transformative power of psychology, making a positive impact on the lives of thousands. She is the founder and CEO of Baku Psychology School, a renowned international trainer, developer of personal growth programs, and partner in various state initiatives.

She received her education in economics from Azerbaijan State University of Economics and later specialized in psychology, earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from MAUP University in Ukraine.

Since 2006, she has collaborated with numerous governmental and private institutions such as Silk Way Bank, CTG, Təmiz Dünya, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, UNDP, IOM, SOCAR AQS, and Huner Group. Her influence extends beyond Azerbaijan, as she has contributed to international projects including Eurovision 2012, the ISSF World Championship 2023, and training programs aboard a cruise ship in Istanbul. Her role as a business instructor at Huner Group further enriched her expertise in corporate development.

Among her impactful initiatives are projects like “Mindful Eating” and “Identifying Motivations,” which promote healthy living and psychological balance. Through the project “BCV – Brain Can Answer,” she brings neuropsychological insights on human behavior to a wide audience, aiming to integrate scientific approaches into everyday life.

A lifelong learner, Khatira actively hones her skills through trainings and conferences organized by ICRC, USAID, UN IOM, Hacettepe University, the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, and UNEC EEC. She is specialized in areas such as psychosomatics, developmental testing, and working with children affected by violence. Khatira is also a member of the Azerbaijan Writers’ Union and received the prestigious Humay National Award for her book Freedom in a Cage. Her life and work have been featured in the documentary Memories of a Butterfly.

Currently based in Istanbul, she provides individual consultations and support through international programs. Fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish, and English, she communicates effectively on both local and global platforms. Her core mission is to help individuals discover their inner strength, improve their quality of life, and make psychological knowledge more accessible.
