Assoc.Prof.Dr. Gokcen Erdogan was born in 1976. She graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine and completed her medical residency in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. She completed her Master's degree in Public Health and Social Psychology and continues her PhD in Philosophy of Religion at Başkent University. She lectured students of the Faculty of Medicine at Near East University, where she also received the title of associate professor. She still pursues giving lectures and trainings in her field.
Gokcen Erdogan received comprehensive training on 'International Women's Health and Women's Rights' from Stanford University and turned this knowledge into social benefit in her career.Gokcen Erdogan is one of the most influential names in solving many sexual health problems, especially vaginismus, and one of the leading and reliable physicians of our country in the field of genital aesthetics.
Gokcen Erdogan closely examines and treats all the issues related to genital health of women, and she continuously contributes to society's exploration of sexuality and works sensitively to transform her knowledge into social benefit. Gokcen Erdogan's first book, Gizli Kapaklı Şeyler was published in 2013, Sırra Kalem in 2014, and Belki Keşke Neyse in 2017. Her final book Utanç met with its readers in December 2022. Her books, which consist of real-life stories, are part of her goal of paving the way for the sexual enlightenment of Turkish society.
The academic studies she edited in the field of cosmetic gynecology are prominent and important studies on a global level. She is currently the editor of 6 books prepared in this field, and one of her books is in the translation phase. Dr. Gokcen Erdogan established the brand called Dr. Ge Healthcare. She designed sexual health products with the sensitivity of an expert and presented them to the consumer, attracted great attention in a short time and managed to create a bond based on trust between the brand and the consumer.
Dr. Gokcen Erdogan was selected as the businesswoman of the year in Ankara in 2010. In 2022, she received the award in the Genital Aesthetics category at the World Health Summit and is currently an international educator in the same field.Gokcen Erdogan emphasizes the importance of women speaking for their sexual life and personal rights at every opportunity and has been continuing her awareness-raising efforts on this issue for years.
Last month, she was awarded the Global Woman Awards held by Millionaire Concept in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. At the same time, it should be noted that Gokcen Erdogan, was elected a platinum member of the Millionaire Concept Network closed membership club, which established in Azerbaijan and received a trademark patent from Italy.
Gokcen Erdogan is married and mother of two children.
